Bing is Microsoft's search engine that recently came out to replace MSN. MSN like Yahoo is very cluttered and just not very visually appealing to people. It has to much stuff on it. It is to clunky or overwhelming. It looks tacky. Bing has been streamlined and what I would call "artified". What I mean by this is they made it look visually appealing to people with a picture of nature on the home page with a small menu on the side for some basic features and a very small sign-in, MSN link, Hotmail link, and a Explore button to show you more features. While Yahoo is much more cluttered and overwhelming than Google, Bing is more relaxing and appealing on the eyes than Goggle.
Bing may look much better than Google, but they don't have as many apps. Bing has kept it to less apps but, the apps they have are to me the most practical and most used. Bing doesn't showcase all their apps; they showcase the most use and you can find their other apps when you hit the Explore button. Also Bing's picture background has facts appear when you hover over it. So Bing I would say is on the opposite side of Google than Yahoo. Bing is very artistic and appealing looking, but Bing compared to Google and Yahoo is not as useful or does not have as many features.

Yahoo!
Yahoo like Google has wide expanse of applications to mail, to sports, to movies, to music. Yahoo has around 80 apps for you to choose from! Although Yahoo has a multitude of apps to choose from and have fun using Yahoo feels clunky and hard to figure out. When you first visit Yahoo it looks clunky, clutered, and overwhelming.
Yahoo crowds their front page with content while Google keeps their front page simple with a search bar and a top menu. Yahoo fills their page with videos, news, menus, and adds that just make the website look tacky.
Yahoo has a large amount of apps to choose from. With over 80 apps I am sure that you will be able to find any app you want. Yahoo has many apps but i would rather use Google apps or Bing apps than Yahoo because Yahoo is so hard to navigate.

Wikia
Wikia is a free build your own wiki website. It lets build your own wikis or search for other wikis you want to be apart of. Wikia is free but anyone who is not a user will see adds unless you pay for the WikiPlus which gets rid of adds completly! Wikia has a WikiEditor that lets you change the layout, fonts, colors, and templates.
Wikia is easy to use and has a lot of features to help you customize your Wiki and make it how you want to. They let you control backgrounds, adds, fonts, colors, and templates. You can link words to other Wikis to make a huge network of wiki pages!
Also Wikia's newest feature is being able to connect you wiki to your facebook so that your friends can see it. having your wiki connected to your facebook means that you will be able to log-in using your facebook account and because all your friends will see your wiki they will start writing pages for it! In all Wikia is a free, easy to use wiki provider that I would reccomend to anyone.

Google offers a wide variety apps including their search engine, e-mail provider, and YouTube. Because Google has such a wide variety of apps it is rare that you wont be able to find the app you are looking for from Google. Also Google is continually adding new apps to their web site.
Google is very customizable and gives you very basic apps like Google docs (an online version of Word, paint, ect.), their search engine, and their e-mail provider. Also they give you a selection of very specialized apps like their SketchUp or their new Picnic (picture editing).
If Google doesn't have an app you like at the moment I would not be surprised for them to have it with a year. Google is constantly adding new apps to list of over 40 apps! Google is a great place to start looking for the app you want because with with over 40 apps they are bound to have it.

Map Apps-Google Maps, Bing Maps, and MapQuest
This is a review on features and on how easy to use these three map clients are. This not a review on how good of directions they give.
When you first visit MapQuest they have a map ready to go of your general location. This mapping site was the only to start so zoomed in. MapQuest has a list of different types of stores, shops, hotels, ect. that you can add to your map. MapQuest was slower than both Bing and Google in loading their maps. Also MapQuest's zoom capability was the worst because they had less zoom factors to choose from so I could never get a screen size I liked.
Bing Maps best feature is by far their birds eye view which shows you a satellite view until you zoom in close enough to where you can see the buildings in 3-D. While Google Maps offers this, you have to download something first to be able to use it. Bing has a multitude of Apps for their Maps but it seemed not very user friendly to me.
Google maps is my favorite because of how simple and easy to use it is. Google maps loaded the fastest for me, they had the best labeling of towns, parks, ect. and they had the best zoom ability out of the three. Although Google Maps did not have any apps to show restaurants, shops, hotels, ect.

Blogger
Blogger is a free blogging website owned by Google. It is easy to use and with Blogger you can customize your blog exactly how you like. Blogger's template designer and their drag drop function makes the lay out and designing go quickly to leave you with more time to blog and add gadgets to your page! But, if you one of those guys who likes to do it yourself and get down and dirty with the html, Blogger will let you do that too. Also, Blogger lets you put advertising on your blog if you are interested in making your blog in to a moneymaking machine. And if you are wondering how many people are visiting your blog, Blogger has a section for that under stats.
Blogger's template designer is easy to use , but while being easy to use it also lets you customize almost everything including the background, fonts, colors, the layout and a lot more. Blogger has basic templates pre-made with backgrounds, color schemes and fonts that look good if your not an "artistic" person or don't want to deal with spending a lot of time designing your blog.
If you want to change the content of your blog beyond what their template designer will let you then you can go to the edit html section to add or take away something or maybe even move something.... Who knows what you would do? But because of this function you are able to make your blog exactly how you like it.
With AdSense on Blogger you put advertising on your blog to make money. Also you can sign up for Google affiliates and Amazon associates so if anything is bought that is promoted on your blog you will gain some mullah. While getting money is nice, you don't want all your readers to get annoyed with to many ads and stop visiting your blog. Blogger still lets you control where the ads are displayed and what they will be displaying.
Under the Stats section you can find statistics about how many people, what age group of people, and from what countries people are visiting your blog. With this information you can tailor your blog to the people visiting so as to gain more readers.
Gadgets are helpful in making your page interesting and to help make it more than just your words on a screen. Gadgets vary from blog stats to a news reel to a survey for your readers. You can have multiple gadgets on a page at once and Blogger lets you chose where they go.

Aviary
Aviary is a free creative website that has multiples tools for artists such as a music creator or a picture editor. Aviary gives you the creative freedom you have always wanted by giving you tools that are free and can be accessed on any computer connected to the internet. Aviary has tutorials made by users to explain and teach you how they created a certain image or song.
